5th Annual Caring Circle Camp
Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam
Caring Circle Children’s Bereavement Program Day Camp
Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam sponsors biweekly support groups for children ages 3 - 18 and their families who have lost a loved one. These groups offer children a safe environment to deal with their emotions in a healthy and productive way so they can begin to heal.
As an extension of the program, The Caring Circle established an annual day camp where children in the support groups can have a day of fun with their peers who understand what they are feeling and going through.
This year marks the 5th year for The Caring Circle Camp. It is scheduled for Saturday, August 8th, 2009. Sponsors are needed to cover the cost of the camp. The Caring Circle is offered free of charge to any child or family in Westchester or Putnam who needs it. The program, including the camp, is run entirely on donations.
