The Palliative Care Program provides pain and symptom management recommendations in addition to the standard care already provided by the patient's physicians. Currently, Hospice Care is working with several area hospitals to provide patients with palliative care services.
There are many complexities associated with comfort care. To help patients and their families during a time of illness, Hospice Care offers palliative care services by a Registered Nurse to help ease the physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual pain associated with many types of chronic, acute and progressive illnesses.
